How do I get started?

Which languages does SlideShow support?

SlideShow currently supports English, German, French, Dutch, and Polish; all of which you can access from directly within the program. Don’t see your language listed? How many images can I use in my presentation?

Use as many images or videos as you like! The more images and videos you use, the longer your project will get. Keep in mind what your audience might want to see and what parts would only stretch the time.

What resolution/format should my videos be?

You can use any video quality up to HD and even 4K. Slideshow 9 & 10 support all common video formats including MP4, M2TS, MOV, MKV, AVI, and WebM.

How do I choose between 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio?

If you plan on showing your slideshow on TV or computer screen then 16:9 is the option that you should choose. If however, you have a very old TV or computer you may need to choose 4:3. Most normal digital cameras shoot photos in 4:3 or even in 3:2 aspect ratio, this means that when you insert your photos there will be black lines at sides. You can fix this if you would like your photo to take up the whole screen by cropping the photo to the appropriate size. To do this you go to “Aspect ratio” ...

Can shows I created on an older version be imported into the new version?

You can easily import a project created with an earlier version into Slideshow 9, 10, or Stages, by going to "File" and then "Open" and selecting the older slideshow. Once your project is open in the newer version of Slideshow you can edit as usual and even add / use the new features on your older project.

How can I adjust the speed of my show/video?

If you want to adjust the duration of an image/ video clip you can do this two ways: 1. In the timeline drag the border of the image/video-object further to the right side, if you want to increase the duration and to the left to decrease the duration. 2. You could also use the „Properties“ toolbox and enter the exact amount of time under „Duration“. You can create a time lapse by speeding up the play back speed or slow motion clip by slowing the playback speed, both adjustable in the propertie...

Is SlideShow 9, 10, Stages compatible with Windows 10? Or are they compatible with my operating system?

Not only do SlideShow 9, 10, and Stages work on Windows 10, they are also compatible with older versions of Windows, including: Windows 8.1, 8, 7 and even Windows Vista.

I forgot my password

If you’ve forgotten your password, no problem. You can easily retrieve it from the customer login area here (http://www.aquasoft.net/en/account/login). Type in your registration e-mail (the email you used to register your product) and a new password will be sent to that e-mail. Can I install the software on more than one computer?

That's no problem! You can install the software on up to two personal computers that you use at home (ex: on a desktop and laptop). For anything beyond that, we offer discounted second licenses in the Customer Login area (http://www.aquasoft.net/en/account/login).

Does lifetime download guarantee mean that the SlideShow can be downloaded following a crash no matter how much time goes by?

Yes indeed. No matter how much time goes by you can re-download older versions of the SlideShow software from within your customer log in area. Also, any updates that we make or bug fixes within the version are free.

What if I would like to return SlideShow?

We’re sorry to see you go, but we understand that these things happen sometimes. You can always return your software for a full refund within 30 days after you’ve purchased it on our website.
