The most common question that comes up in this category is:
“I own SlideShow (7,8,9) and now I’ve downloaded the trial version of SlideShow 10. When I put in my log in data/ serial number it gives an error. Why isn’t it working?”
We continuously update our software to meet the needs of our customers as well as the changes within the Windows operating system. Within each version of the software (SlideShow 7, 8, 9, 10) there are updates within the version that fix known bugs, adjust features to be even more user friendly, or to make the version compatible with newer versions of the Windows operating system (Win 7, 8, 8.1, 10 etc). These version updates are free.
However, SlideShow 7 and SlideShow 10 are two separate products, sort of like Windows XP and Windows 7, not an update. Thus you will need to buy SlideShow 10 separately as your credentials from SlideShow 7 will not work for it. However, if you like SlideShow 10 and choose to upgrade, as a previous owner of version 7 because we value your loyalty, you would get special upgrade pricing. You can carry out the upgrade through your customer area instead of the normal shopping cart in order to receive upgrade pricing.
